Thanks to all but we have been offered to stay free at sister-in-laws down the road in Destin...not the area that I really wanted or the atmosphere, but the price was too good for husband to pass up-3 nights free with minimum groveling :laughing1

well we have made it this far...but he wants to camp (to save money of course) on our anniversary at the beach...and while I would do it for the opportunity to come to the beach ***decided I would come to the "board of wisdom" :blink: and see if any one has or knows of a very inexpensive place...

I read in a magazine while we were there about a new development. The family is developing it and it is named for their grandmother-Alice that had taught them to love the beach? And developing it in a way she would appreciate. Probably tooooo expensive for some of us but such a sweet idea. jen

as a renter that lives for her week in florida I like this idea best :) but I know that is not always the best "plan". Just glad there are so many choices that we can usually find one!
