South Walton Community Council & Hidden Lantern Gallery are pleased to announce “The Jewels of 30A”, a juried art show featuring our Coastal Dune Lakes.

The call to artists has gone out to submit photos, paintings, original prints and mixed media by August 22, 2011. Local artists who live in Walton, Okaloosa, Bay and Santa Rosa counties are asked to use our globally rare & imperiled Coastal Dune Lakes as inspiration for their submissions.

The exhibition & sale will open on Monday, September 26th and run through Saturday, October 29th at The Hidden Lantern Gallery located in Rosemary Beach. The exhibit is free and open to the public during normal business hours. A portion of the proceeds will go to support the South Walton Community Council. About The Hidden Lantern Gallery
Established in 2010, The Hidden Lantern Gallery is committed to the visibility of local and regional emerging artists. Exhibitions feature works of art in various media, with prominence given to painting and sculpture, but where traditional materials are utilized in unconventional ways. It is the unlimited possibilities inherent in art-making that incite our curiosity and motivate our work. With the creative process at the fore, it is our hope to engage and inspire.
