$155K to clone a dog!

The Scooter family certainly loves their hounds, but $155K to have a yellow lab cloned and flown in from S. Korea ..................... when you have 9 other dogs?!?

They can afford it (no puppy financing was required), but it seems ridonkulous to spend that kind of money to clone a dog from such a readily available and prolific breed.

Question - they had the foresight to get a genetic sample from their dog 6 years before his death so they could clone him ............................ why didn't they just get some of his seed and breed another dog w/ similar traits?
