Does anyone know the cumulative rainfall number of inches of rain, in our area, since Tuesday? "20 in 24 hrs" doesn't tell entire story.

30A really needs a couple of personal weather stations. Getting data from Destin or PCB or P'cola airports isn't the same.

Agreed. We need something in SOWAL to give us more accurate weather data.

We'll it want be TV 7. They only report north and east of PC. In their eyes we don't exist. They will use a webcam from SandDestin if they need to fill time with a pretty sunset. All there weather watchers are in places like WeWa????

There is a Weather Underground station at Point Washington, and one at Miramar Beach. Those are private stations that send data to WU. Neither includes a rain gauge, just temp/wind.

One of the weathermen from a Panama City TV station used to live at Inlet - he had a rain gauge at his house and would sometimes post the totals.

I would bet that rain gauges around South Walton would vary wildly - I know I have driven out of Point Washington into a blinding rainstorm on 98, and vice-versa.
