The Seaside Institute is hosting a Community Discussion regarding 30A Mobility THIS Thursday. See below for the details or on the Facebook Event Posting

The Seaside Institute has been acting as a catalyst for discussions with the County and worldwide experts on transit and transportation to try to facilitate solving this problem that detracts from our wonderful area. To get an update on what has been done so far, check out these pieces from the latest Seaside Times, including an essay by local Architect/New Urbanist, Mark Schnell.

The new team at The Seaside Institute invites you to join us for a discussion about the 30A Mobility Project. The afternoon will begin with a brief meet-and-greet, followed by a webcast from Transportation for America (description below). Following the webcast, we would like to exchange information, concerns and ideas with the community.

Come by and see us. We would love to meet you!

Tentative Agenda:
2:30 - 3:00pm: Meet & Greet
3:00 - 4:00pm: Webinar (more information below)
4:00 - 5:00pm: Community Discussion

Webinar Information:
T4America, The Scenic Route
The topic: Developing an inclusive vision for a community's future is challenging work and it frequently suffers from not including enough voices. What role can artists and designers play in improving that visioning process?

"The Scenic Route is an online interactive guide to creative placemaking in transportation designed to introduce the concept to transportation planners, public works agencies and local elected officials who are on the front lines of advancing transportation projects." - Stephen Lee Davis, Director of Communications; Transportation for America
