Notice of 45-Day Public Comment Period for Walton County RESTORE Multi-year Implementation Plan (MYIP)
This is a notice that Walton County has drafted a Multi-year Implementation Plan (MYIP) to be submitted to the U.S. Treasury in accordance with the RESTORE Act. The Plan will be made available to the public on July 22nd, 2016 for a period of 45 days.

A public meeting on the MYIP will be held on August 23rd, 2016 at 12:00 pm at the Walton County Courthouse located at 571 US Hwy 90 E, DeFuniak Springs FL 32433. The public is encouraged to attend. The public comment period will close on September 6th, 2016.

The MYIP outlines the funding allocation plan for monies coming from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill in accordance with eligible activities as set forth in the R-ESTORE Act.
