9th Annual Hurricane Party Benefiting CVHN at Bud & Alley's September 27

Mark your calendars and save the date for one of South Walton's most anticipated parties, the 9th Annual Hurricane Party on Friday, September 27 at 7 p.m. at Bud & Alley’s Restaurant in Seaside! Proceeds from the event benefit Children's Volunteer Health Network (CVHN).

This signature CVHN event is one you won’t want to miss, with delicious hors d'eourves from Bud & Alley's as well as a live and silent auction during the event.

Tickets are $60 in advance and $75 at the door. Pre ticket sales will end September 26 at 11:59 p.m. All tickets must be purchased at the door after that.

It's always a great party and it's for a great cause - raising funds every year for one of our favorite local organizations - Children's Volunteer Health Network (CVHN). They see to it that all children in our area receive needed medical and dental care.

This year we're so happy to have the party at SoWal.com partner Bud & Alley’s in Seaside. Our friends there will host the 9th Annual Hurricane Party on Friday, Sept. 27 from 7-10 p.m. with all proceeds benefiting CVHN.

Entertainment will be provided by Destin’s DJ Joey. The event also features a live and silent auction. Select silent auction items will be posted online for a pre-auction two weeks prior to the party. Anyone will be able to bid on the items, whether they plan to attend the party or not. Online bidding details will be posted on www.CVHNkids.org.

“We are so pleased to be hosting the Hurricane Party benefiting CVHN again this year at Bud & Alley's,” said Dave & Carol Rauschkolb, owners of Bud & Alley’s. “We are drawn to this cause because the heart of this organization is about enriching children's lives.”
The 8th Annual Hurricane Party in 2012 raised more than $34,000, providing critical funding for the CVHN Dental Clinic, ‘Just for Grins’ Mobile Dental Clinic and the Healthcare Referral Program.

“Providing free, essential health and dental services to uninsured and underinsured children lessens suffering and builds stronger, more productive and happy children in our area. Together we can make a tremendous and meaningful difference for these children,” said The Rauschkolbs. “Please join us for this important event.”

The doors will open at 7 p.m. with heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. Tickets are $60 in advance and $75 day of the party with proceeds going to help CVHN fulfill its mission. If your business is interested in getting involved, there are various sponsorship levels available and opportunities to donate auction items; all proceeds from the auction go straight to CVHN.
