A Seasonal Poem

[WaltonUndercurrent]

If you live in a trailer and your home should get wreck'd
from storm or tornado
"what did you expect?"

If you live where it's low and your home takes a hit
from surge in the bay
"well that's what you get."

If your house should catch fire and go up in smoke
from lightning or wiring
"you're just unlucky folk."

But if you live on the gulf and the waves take your sand
though it threatens our beaches
we'll all lend a hand.
