Hearing that a new law suit is being filed against two seated and one ex-commissioner...

Is this rumor or any truth to it?

    :dunno:

    You are correct Bob

Those three were named individually and in the role as commissioner.

No, This time it's not Osborne. It's the other hundreds of homeowners tired of waiting on a promise made in 2007. The original estimate to fix driftwood was 5.5 million and so far the county has about 3 million in legal fees, settlements and engineering studies, special master hearings ect, ect, ect without fixing a thing. By the time the association gets done with them, should have more in it than the fix would have cost in the first place. And how much did the county charge the developer to assume responsibility? A whopping 60K.......it pays to have commissioner friends!

The county committed to FIX the problems, did they even start after all these years? NO !! The time had run and they filed because they had no choice on the last day to preserve their legal rights. The commissioners should have done what they said they would do and once again NOT wasted the county taxpayers money on attorney fees. I think the insurance on this is maxed out and once again it will be your money paying and then it will be your money spent to fix the original problem. Walton charged the developer 60,000 for creating the problem not the county will spend over when all law suits are over on this about 5 million dollars. Stupid is as stupid does.
