Rabid fox attacks man in Grayton Beach during outdoor party for 65 people

Our illustrious local Fourth Estate has so far failed in itsduty to inform us about this incident that occurred only late last week. Alocal citizen suffered multiple puncture wounds on his leg and must go throughmany weeks of shots since the fox has now been conclusively determined to havebeen infected with rabies. Local law enforcement, hospital, and emergencyresponders were all called in, so there is no good reason for the newsblackout. Could there be an effort underway to shield the public fromknowledge of this local menace just prior to the expected influx of Memorial Daytourism?

I heard people saw it on the news and the WCSO had it all over FB- issued a public alert or something.

I didn't know that it had bitten someone - just that there was a fox they determined was rabid in Grayton.

Nothing in the local news ticker for the Sun, WJHG, or Herald.
