If so, where specifically and what are the conditions? TV coverage is showing Destin and P'cola.
Kurt's last post was at 7:33 AM, so I guess he's either lost power or lost his ISP. Or maybe decided to leave? Smiling JOe's last post was at 10:11 AM, so I guess he's still there. chrisv's last post was at 8:55. Those are a few who said they were staying.
Our house is on Camp Creek lake, one house back from the Gulf front. We still have power (my answering machine still picks up)
We've got one palce in Seagrove (CHELCO) and one in SeacrestBeach North(Gulf Power) both my answering machines are still answering.
We're still hunkered down near Grayton on Western Lake. Power, telephones, internet all are fine. We had to turn the TV off. It was scarier than the storm. The lake has risen dramatically over the past hour but is still at a reasonable level. Winds are still strong from the north. I'm keeping a watch on the lake level when the wind shifts to the south.
How is it now. Just wondering how bad the surge is.
As long as they are still broadcasting, you can listen to30-A Radio, on line:
The lake is getting agitated - still rising. Electricity has flickered a few times - not sure how much longer we'll have power. I'll report back in an hour if I can.
Power is still on at Pelican Circle on Camp Creek lake
Leave the lights on! We are on our way! We are coming hell or high water.
Thanks for the updates! We play in our church's string ensemble every Sunday, and our minister said a prayer for those who are currently in the area or have property near the hurricane track. So did I. :'(
High winds and heavy rain in the Mack Bayou area. We still have power,
and cable service. Someone reported on the radio that the water from the bay was over HWY 20. Thank you Gulf Power!
We still have electricity near Grayton. Lake is continuing to rise - it's lapping the sides of Lloyd's house and might be in the swimming pool of Little Easy. I've got about 2 to 3 ft before it enters our home. Yikes -
It's windy and rainy too. Wind has shifted to the south and docks are starting to float around.
Power is still on at Pelican Circle/Camp Creek
Our house is on the south side of Rosemary Beach. Power is still on. :clap_1:

Just glad to see you are still around, Kurt!!!
Good to hear from Kurt. You had been rather quiet for quite some time. You guys hang in there, keep your families safe & know we are wishing you the best.
