Join Bands of 30A as they host a benefit concert for our neighbors affected by Hurricane Michael. Make plans to bring the whole crew out for the outdoor concert on Saturday, Oct. 27th kicking off at 11am. The benefit concert will feature live music, food, and Grayton Beer Company, as well as a variety of wine generously provided by Baytowne Provisions. The One Blood Bus will be on site collecting much needed blood donations.

Bands of 30A is working closely with school district officials to provide the displaced students in the affected counties the necessary school supplies and personal items they need that were destroyed in their homes or schools. 100% of funds raised from this concert will be donated directly to relief efforts.

Come out to the Gulley Amphitheater at Gulf Place Saturday October 27th 11am-6pm.

Music Lineup:

11:00 a.m.
Max Soelzer Band
Max Soelzer is a vocalist and guitarist from the Emerald Coast of Florida, who has been influenced from many genres of music. He entertains his audience with rock, country, blues and soul music. Also included in the set list are original songs as well.

12:00 p.m.
Songwriter Round: Luke Langford with Matt Miller, Casey Kearney and Jessie Ritter

Luke Langford will be performing a rare acoustic set in the 12:00 Songwriters Round. He will be joined by another local favorite, fiddle player Matt Miller. You won't want to miss this special set.

Jessie Ritter is a country singer/songwriter based in Pensacola Florida. She grew up on farms in Southeast Missouri, spent several years in Nashville Tennessee studying and honing her skills, traveled the world performing nightly on cruise ships, and landed on the Emerald Coast in Northwest Florida. Casey Kearney is a fresh take on the country music scene. Her personal songs effortlessly convey both the sweetness of a Southern belle and the steel backbone of a strong country woman with a little touch of rock and grit. Her music ranges from slow heartfelt ballads to upbeat crowd favorites and playful melodies.

Will Thompson
Will Thompson brings Country soul to Rock grandiose. Bands of 30A is proud to welcome back Will Thompson to the stage on Saturday. Will is a resident of the Panama City area and sustained quite a bit of damage from Hurricane Michael to his home. We are honored he will be playing for this concert and know that you will be blown away by his incredible talent.

Wildlife Specials
The Wildlife Specials are an Americana and Rock N’ Roll band that includes John Mark Turner and Scott Crompton, along with drummer Richard Proctor (Tishamingo) and bassist Ricky Stanfield (Graytones.) With 120+ combined years of touring, recording and song writing experience between them, The Wildlife Specials are a unique assortment of talented players who met up in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. They have a diverse set list that includes songs by other artists they have played with and revered over the years along with their own considerable library of original compositions.

Rust & Gold
Rust & Gold is an authentic sounding Neil Young and Crazy Horse Tribute Band. This Santa Rosa Beach band keeps to the true creative sound of of Neil’s acoustic, harmonica, electric and keys for a true sounding tribute to the music of Neil Young. Members: Nic Turner, Scott Rockwood, Shawn Hartung, Dan Hall, and Roberto Pandron.

Cadillac Willy
Cadillac Willy played their first gig in the year 2000 and they are still going strong. Most recently (2017), the band was named Best Dance Band and Metz was awarded Best Keyboardist by the Beachcomber. Cadillac Willy was honored to be inducted into the Beachcomber Magazine "Hall of Fame" in 2016. The Readers of Emerald Coast Magazine Voted Cadillac Willy as "BEST BAND" in their 2014 and 2015 "Best of the Emerald Coast" Polls. Cadillac Willy was also voted "Best Jam Band" at the 2012 and 2013 Beachcomber Music Awards and their drummer, Shawn "Shack" Shackelford was named "Best Drummer". They were also named "Best Band" by the readers of Destin Magazine in 2012. The Band is based out of Destin Florida and their influences include Classic Rock and Jam Bands like Widespread Panic, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers and the Grateful Dead. Cadillac Willy also enjoys playing funky tunes by folks like James Brown, Stevie Wonder, The Funky Meters, Curtis Mayfield, and Bill Withers. If the ladies start dancing, the band may bust out some rap jams.

Cumberland County
In early 2017, guitarist Eric DiSanto and songstress Kristin Courville joined forces to form the musical duo 'Kristin and Eric'. What started as a side project has morphed into a successful touring entity throughout the South now known as 'Cumberland County'. The duo currently have two home bases, splitting their time between Nashville, TN and Baton Rouge, La, with frequent stops along the Emerald Coast. In addition to their busy touring schedule, Eric continues to thrive as a sought after studio musician, while Kristin has expanded her repertoire by singing background vocals on several independent recordings. The two released their debut album "Forty Two Miles" in November of 2017 with the single “Wait For Now” receiving rotation on Tiger Country 100.7 in Baton Rouge, one of the city's largest radio stations. Cumberland County is currently recording their follow up album to be released in late 2018.

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS! The event has several opportunities for people to volunteer their time Bands of 30A Charity Concert! Please email bandsof30a@gmail.com or message them on Facebook if you are interested in getting involved!

BANDS OF 30A is working closely with school district officials to provide displaced students the essentials they need to go back to school. After this concert, we will be hosting a “Pack the Pack” night to get 800 backpacks ready for these kids and teachers who have essentially lost everything, including their school. We have a dedicated purpose for the funds we intend to raise and 100% will be going to these efforts.
