My family will be in Rosemary in a less than 2 weeks and were told one of the things we need to do is attend a beach bonfire. How do I look for one? I'm not sure where to start.

Are beach bonfires allowed during turtle nesting season?

They are, with some guidance and restrictions to include a permit. Contact South Walton Fire District, www.swfd.org

The Bay Restaurant also has a bay-side "beach" bonfire if you are looking for dinner and a bonfire vs. just being on the beach.

Tell your family to ask Sea Oats Beach Service, located in Rosemary Beach. They provide beach chair set ups as well as bonfires at Rosemary Beach. Ask for Chris Webb.
