Job Requirements: Ability to build square, level and plumb a specific project task using basic carpentry tools. Follow established jobsite safety and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area. Knowledge of how to build safety provisions, including but not limited to: Scaffolding, Gang Ladders, Perimeter railings and Fall Protection, Temporary Covers, Inter. Ability to install interior finish items, including but not limited to: Doors & Hardware, Toilet Accessories, TV Brackets, etc. Have a working knowledge of different types of carpentry tools and how to use them safely. e.g. Saws (Band, circular, jig, reciprocating, chop, miter, etc), Drills (Electric, Cordless, Hammer, etc). Education – High School Completion - Must be 18 years of age. Experience – General Construction experience is preferred. Communication Skills – Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.The ability to understand information, ideas, direction and then be able to perform the task or project discussed. Also, to be able to ask questions to insure you understand the information given. Provide and maintain general hand tools including : Tool belt/box, Hammers, tape measures, hand levels, squares, chalk lines, screw drivers, pliers, etc. Carpenter Helper/Construction Laborer JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform tasks involving physical labor at building construction projects site. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble and debris. May be required to assist other craft workers. Perform duties as directed by the labor foreman or HFC Manager. Job Requirements: Run and maintain various construction equipment, including but not limited to: pumps, compressors, generators, and various other construction equipment. General knowledge of construction means, methods, materials and equipment as necessary to assist carpenters, foreman and HFC Managers. Ability to keep building and/or assigned areas of jobsite clean and organized as necessary to maintain safe and productive work. Education – High School Completion - Must be 18 years of age.
