Thanks to Oyster City Brewing Company, Chef Jim Shirley now has his own branded beer only sold at his establishments.

    Meet - Rabid Fox Ale.

"We asked Bo Walker of Oyster City to cross all boundaries and craft a beer that would be a fit for each of our locations, and also be drinkable on a hot sunny day."

Using their “First Light” Blonde Ale as a jumping off point, Bo worked with Dan Tinghitella, Jim's Director of Operations, to tweak it a few times until it was just right.

You can enjoy Rabid Fox Ale at The Bay right now, and Great Southern Cafe, North Beach Tortilla Co.and 45 Central Wine & Sushi Bar by next week or sooner.

Rabid Fox Ale is a wildly drinkable blonde ale with hints of orange peel and slight hop notes. At 4.7% ABV, this smooth summer ale won’t bite back. Made exclusively for us by the rabid brew masters at Oyster City Brewing Company with a truly infectious love of beer.

Oyster City Brewing Company is located in Apalachicola. You can stop in their tap room downtown for a cold one.
