Paradise Catering?s owners ? Allen Davis, Marty Smith, Randall Russell and Mary Cook ? were looking for a kitchen and found it at Cherry Peppers at the Emerald Coast Plaza.
?We outgrew ourselves and needed a bigger kitchen for our catering business,? Davis said.
The addition of the restaurant gave the caterers another outlet to offer their style of good Southern cooking.
However, while renovations and an upgrade to the food have already brought in new customers, the business name will stay the same.
?Cherry Peppers worked for the previous owners,? Davis said. ?We will keep the name.? Lunch is served from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be featured entrees including the addition of the Friday seafood buffet prepared by Chef Justin. The cost for lunch is $7.99 for salad, entr?e, dessert and tea or lemonade.
