“Home” is local favorite, Chris Alvarado’s second album. Releasing an album on vinyl has always been a dream for Chris and he was able to achieve it with the help of his fans through a project on Kickstarter.com.
In 2012, the National Recording Academy awarded Chris first place at the Florida GRAMMY showcase. Chris plays locally up to 9 times a week and recently won the Beachcomber's Best Solo Artist award.
Chris is releasing his new album, “Home”, on vinyl at two special events.
The first event will be held at Central Square Records on April 20 to celebrate Record Store Day. Chris will be performing at 6:00 with Kelsey Anna. This event is free and open to the public.
The second release party is at The Williams Backyard Boogie on May 2, 2013 at6:30. Other local favorites Kelsey Anna, Scott Rockwood and more will also be sharing the stage with Chris.
Ticket prices are $20 and include a copy of the album on CD. Food plates will also be available for $10 from Grayt Catering. Tickets can be purchased at any Forrest Williams show, at Central Square Records, or by phone at (850) 502-6448.
