Last night, The Weather Channel was reporting that the Panhandle is expected to get "coastal flooding" in the form of high wave action today, the result of Emily's passing en route across the Western Gulf. The weather map shows an area from Pascagoula, MI to Destin. Can someone there report on how Grayton Beach is faring with this condition? Seems there is so much cumulative effect with the storms. We are hoping that the South Walton beaches are not effected (more) by this. Thanks for any reports locals can provide.

Maybe it will get worse later, but it's pretty flat right now. But some moderate/high surf might be a good thing re. getting sand back on the beach.
