The South Walton County Coastal Library presents the 2019 Summer Reading Events for children and families. During June and July, kids pick up your summer reading logs available at the front desk. Completed logs win free books!

This is a Digitarium Alpha Portable Planetarium star show for ages Kindergarten through 8th grade students.

Anna Moo’s presentations are dynamic, multi-culturally oriented and always fun for the whole family.
From Shelves to Shores, hosted by Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance Science Programs, begins Monday, July 1st at 10am. Join CBA with environmental learning activities and planting grasses for Bay restoration this summer. All ages welcome.

For Teens this summer, join Alisha and sign up today for Paint like Bob Ross Classes. Professional artist Bob Ross is known for his unique "wet-on-wet" painting style. Ross has influenced a generation of minds with his relaxing mannerisms and soothing brushwork. Join with friends and community along with fellow artists of all experience levels as you work on painting the Bob Ross way.

June 21st, June 28th, July 19th and July 26th from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.
Lego Club will extend hours on Wednesdays from 2:30 to 4:30 pm with Reading Dogs starting at 2:00 pm.
