Born in South Carolina, singer, songwriter, and guitarist Dave Barnes was raised in Mississippi, where he was initially attracted to hip-hop, but was also exposed to classic soul, blues, and R&B by his parents. Now Nashville-based, Barnes is quickly becoming one of the best known performers in America with his irresistibly catchy, hook-filled melodies and blue eyed soul arrangements/production.
Recently Dave spent time touring with the likes of John Mayer, Taylor Swift, Bonnie Raitt and Los Lonley Boys, and is now headlining some of the most well respected music venues in the country in Atlanta, Boston, New York & Los Angeles.
