Junior League of the Emerald Coast invites you to the event of the season: Down & Derby Fest! This year's event will be held in Seaside on the Lyceum Lawn on Saturday, May 4th from 3-6PM. The festival will feature “Derby Fare” from local restaurants highlighting the Emerald Coast’s best savory cuisine, decadent dessert and luscious libations. The menu will offer everything from a mint julep to an authentic Kentucky Hot Brown.

Guests will have the opportunity to dress to impress in their Kentucky best to win prizes for Most Elegant Hat, Most Creative Hat, Best Fascinator, Biggest Hat, Most Colorful Hat, Best Bowtie, and Best Dressed “Colt and Filly”.

Tickets will go on sale March 1 at 850tix.com. Early bird general admission tickets are $40 and will increase to $50 the week of the event. VIP tickets are $100 and are limited to 100 guests.

VIP access begins at 2:30pm
General Admission 3:00PM - 6:00PM

The Junior League of the Emerald Coast is an organization of nearly 300 Northwest Florida Panhandle women of diverse backgrounds who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism.

The members of the Junior League of the Emerald Coast strive to uphold our mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community. We are a diverse group of women - doctors, lawyers, teachers, business women and stay at home mothers.

The Junior League of the Emerald Coast (JLEC) is excited to announce The Down & Derby Fest, taking place at The Lyceum Lawn in Seaside, FL on May 4th, 2019 in honor of the 15th running of the Kentucky Derby. The festival will feature “Derby Fare” from local restaurants highlighting the Emerald Coast’s best savory cuisine, decadent dessert and luscious libations. The menu will offer everything from a mint julep to an authentic Kentucky Hot Brown.

The event will be held from 3-6pm (VIP 2:30pm) and will showcase a live viewing of the Kentucky Derby.

Get lost in the infield with The Luke Langford Band as they entertain the crowd with their southern melodies!

Guests will have the opportunity to dress to impress in their Kentucky Derby attire to win prizes for Most Elegant Hat, Most Creative Hat, Best Fascinator, Biggest Hat, Most Colorful Hat, Best Bowtie, and Best Dressed “Colt and Filly”.

Enjoy a "Millionaires Row" VIP experience where guests can enjoy a premium viewing area for the most exciting two minutes in sports, exclusive food and beverage cuisine and each VIP guest will receive a commemorative 145th Derby glass in their swag bag.

Parking Details: Derby guests will have two parking options for the day of the event. Ticket holders can use the public parking area directly across the road from Hurricane Oyster Bar on 283 South. A FREE shuttle service will be picking guests up and escorting them to the entrance of the event on the Lyceum Lawn. You may also have your vehicle valeted at the entrance of Quincy Circle.
