Tickets: Sinfonia Gulf Coast - events - 11 Apr 2021 - Gospel Brunch featuring D'Vine | April 11 @ The Effie

You’ve heard of “putting a song in your heart.”

That’s D’Vine.

This divine vocal group returns to celebrate Sinfonia Gulf Coast’s 15th season with a gourmet gospel brunch on Sunday, April 11 at 10:30 a.m. in the beautiful ballroom of the newly opened Hotel Effie, located bayside within Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.

During the past 20 years, D’Vine has traveled the world delivering songs that linger in the hearts of audiences long after the group has left the stage.

Hailing from the Peach State, this talented trio is made up of two sisters: Paula McGuire Saunders and Pamela McGuire Deas and, their friend, Sheryl Pollard Riggins.

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) described the work of D’Vine as “an American Masterpiece,” which the NEA defines as “work whose artistic excellence and significance of contribution to the development and performance of its art form has a lasting impression on the national landscape.”

And make a lasting impression they have. Their divine voices have taken them from the White House to school houses and abroad to Europe, South America, Canada, Mexico and Honduras.

Aptly named, these ladies have gifted their artful music to millions performing as vocalists, songwriters and workshop presenters. They are accomplished school performers under the auspices of Young Audiences of Atlanta and are considered trained artists with advanced artistic and educational skills to share their art form with children and young people.

D’Vine has served as music ambassadors for the American Embassy during several overseas tours on behalf of the United States information Agency and Arts America Program. They have even had the unique opportunity to perform at the Olympics and the Olympic Torch Relay.

“D’Vine is no stranger to the Sinfonia stage. We are thrilled they could join us again,” says Sinfonia Gulf Coast Music & Artistic Director Demetrius Fuller. “They are joyful and this certainly will be a joyful experience and just a great way to usher in spring.”

D’Vine’s appearances will be the first opportunity Sinfonia has hosted an event at Hotel Effie.

“It’s a gorgeous venue and the beautiful ballroom setup is perfect for this event. Plus, Sandestin is catering it, so you know you’re going to get quality food and service,” Fuller says.
