Emerald Coast Theatre Company (ECTC) opened “Art,” a comedy by French playwright Yasmina Reza, to a sold out crowd at The Market Shops on Friday, March 6.
“The energy and excitement of playing an intelligent comedy to a full house filled with laughter … what more could we ask for?” said ECTC producing artistic director Nathanael Fisher.
The comedy will run for three performances next weekend, March 13, 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m. in suite 15 at The Market Shops in Sandestin.
Prior to the performance is a wonderful gallery showcase featuring artwork from 12 local artists, which opens at 6:30 p.m.
The art is for sale with proceeds benefitting ECTC and there is a raffle for for a NY Theater Package and a lovely painting by Lori Drew. Tickets are $25 ea of 5 for $100. You do not need to be present to win. If you cannot attend the show, but would like to purchase a raffle ticket, please let me know and I'll happy to make that happen.
The first two nights sold out and audiences are loving it.
The three-member cast includes Don Goodrum (Serge), Jason Hedden (Yvan) and Allen Walker (Marc).
