Alaqua Animal Refuge invites you to join them in an Essential Oil & Animals class Saturday, March 23rd from 10am - 1pm. In this free Jin Shin Jyutsu and Young Living Essential Oils class you will be taught how to share this gentle hands on art with the animals at the Refuge... as well as making everyone feel great.

Colleen Carpenter Riddle will teach an introduction to using YOUNG LIVING ESSENTIAL OILS with your pets from 10-11:00 am. Then the group will take a 10 minute break and Adele Leas will lead attendees through a bit of self help and initial hands on with the animals, starting with dogs.

Adele Leas is the author of "Jin Shin Jyutsu for Your Animal Companion" and will be teaching an in-depth 4-day class at the Refuge in April. No prior knowledge is needed.

The focus of both topics will be to aid the animals with issues such as calming, pain relief, skin, immune and digestive healing.

Alaqua Animal Refuge, an independent, nonprofit organization located on Florida’s Emerald Coast, advocates the general welfare and humane treatment of animals by providing shelter, prevention of pet overpopulation and adoption services. Located on 10 acres in the town of Freeport, the refuge was formed by Walton County, Fla.-resident Laurie Hood in 2007 when she discovered that countless animals were being euthanized due to the lack of a no-kill shelter/adoption organization in the area.
