Ethics Complaint filed against Meadows in 2016 Dismissed
The ethics complaint that Randy Gardner filed against then Commissioner Cindy Meadows has been found to be of “no probable cause” and dismissed by the Florida Ethics Commission. The Commission found the complaint and investigation into the complaint to be without evidence of any violations.
The Florida Ethics Commission is comprised of seven commissioners appointed by the Governor and members of the Legislature. Two women and five men voted to confirm the Advocate’s recommendation of NO probable cause to any of Mr. Gardner’s allegations. Mr. Gardner, after supporting Meadows’ opponent in the District 5 Commission race in 2016, now frequently appears before the BCC as an expert witness for developers.
