Pedego Electric Bikes | Foodie tours news:

Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.—June 28, 2019 — Electric bikes are becoming a common sight along the bike paths and roads of South Walton. These bikes transcend a traditional bike by allowing riders to go double the distance without fatigue due to pedal assist battery power. A new venture recently introduced by Pedego Electric Bikes 30A founder and owner Jason Medina, Eventure Tour Co. provides guided electric bike tours with a range of themes designed for participants of all ages and experience levels. Adventure seekers can sign up for regularly scheduled tours throughout the week or schedule a themed-tour based on their interests.

Designed for culinary travelers and foodies, Eventure Tour Company has launched its new “Foodie Tour” to provide a taste of 30A and authentic local dishes while touring on electric bicycles. Stops and tastings may include salads, tapas, authentic Neapolitan wood-fired pizza, fresh seafood and flights of beers and wine. Every tour is unique and varies depending on restaurant availability.

The new “Foodie Tour” captures the essence of South Walton. Participants will head into Grayton Beach, one of the original beach communities along 30A, to sample fresh local dishes. The tour often includes a stop at Chiringo on Hotz Ave in downtown Grayton Beach. Inspired by the beach huts in Spain serving fresh local coastal fair, the Chiringo menu is simple fresh with local dishes that range from Grayton Beach Caviar to build your own beach bowls. Other popular local hotspots include Hurricane Oyster Bar & Grill in Grayton Beach and the Pizza Bar in Seaside, which cooked up their most popular local bites for foodie tours.

“We think the new Eventure Tours are fun times two! Riding an e-bike is a fun experience in itself. Now we’ve added a culinary component with samples of the some of the best local dishes from some of our favorite South Walton restaurants,” said Jason Medina, owner of Pedego 30A and Eventure Tour Co.

A green and hassle-free way to explore Scenic Highway 30A, Eventure provides guided tours for groups of up to twelve riders with experienced tour guides that offer personalized insight and information along the way. Participants ride Pedego brand ebikes that can be pedaled manually or electronically and get assistance up to 20 MPH thanks to Pedego’s PedalSenseTM technology, giving riders a little extra help riding at five different power levels.

“The inspiration behind Eventure tours is to create an experience where our participants feel like they are being shown the sights by longtime friends or family. I want to create memories that people will look back on with a smile,” said Jason Medina.

Regularly scheduled tours of 30A depart Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 a.m. and on select Saturdays at 3 p.m. These tours take riders on an hour tour along 30A and neighboring beach neighborhoods, revealing off-the-beaten spots that locals and visitors likely miss when traveling in a car. Cost is $39 per person.
