I recently moved from Atlanta to Miramar Beach.
I just finished up a year with Turner Broadcasting (I was a part of the editorial team in the NCAA Digital division), and while I was looking forward to continuing a career there, my fiance's success here was immeasurable. I figured, since we are getting married in September, it might be nice to live in the same state.
I have a strong journalism background (with internships/freelance writing for local papers and magazines in the area as part of my experience), but I bring more to the table than the ability to interview, write and edit. I studied graphic design and photography in college on top of my mass communications major. I can write a story, capture the art to go with it and design the layout of the page in a newspaper or magazine for it to be displayed.
