Job Description: Grayton Beer Company is seeking an experienced Finance Director to Provide leadership to the growing Finance and Administration team.The Finance Director will sit on the leadership team and work closely with the President and COO to shape the direction of the company. We are seeking someone with exceptional communication skills at all levels and the ability to work in a small team environment. We need someone with a “can do” and “yes, and” mindset that can multitask and work with multiple project teams. Strong IT skills is must and experience in beer industry software OrchestratedBEER is preferred. (required). The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with an enquiring mind, a “start up” mindset and passion for building teams and businesses. He or she will have the ability to handle high levels of pressure and make sound recommendations and decisions.

Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Optimize the company’s financial performance and strategic position.
- Take overall responsibility for the company’s accounting function and lead and develop our finance team.
- Manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions as appropriate.
- Contribute fully to the development of the company strategy across all areas of the business- providing guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
- Build company financial systems- ensuring compliance across all activities.
- Oversee the annual corporate budgeting process and all it entails.
- Ensure regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met at the federal, state and local level.
- Establish strong working relationships with external parties, including customers and advisors.
- Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
- Collects, interprets and reports key financial data to COO and President every month
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor degree in accounting is required. Preference will be given to candidates that have an MBA or are CPA’s. 5+ years of business experience is required.
