We have been getting a lot of calls from folks looking for Flu Vaccine. Evidently, a lot of facilities are completely out. The good news is that our ProHealth office here in Santa Rosa Beach has a few doses left of the Flu shots and the FluMist. If you were wanting to protect yourself against the Flu, now is the time to act. Some believe that you can contract the flu from the shot. This is false information. If someone gets the flu within a few days of getting the vaccine, it is due to exposure before the vaccine had time to build up your immunity. It can take 10 days to 2 weeks for you body to get to a therapeutic level.
