I was just visiting my Mom (96 yrs. young!) at Grand Blvd. Rehab and Healthcare Facility today and it came to my attention that they are desperately trying to update the room that they use as a salon for their residents. The room is in dire need of decent salon equipment (which could be donated and gently used); in particular free standing hair dryers which can be placed behind wheelchairs, etc. Any type of salon/manicure equipment would be greatly appreciated and give these senior residents the dignity they deserve and lift their spirits through difficult and challenging times in their lives.
