    Let's Celebrate!!!
    What is your favorite coffee?
What is y0ur favorite coffee joint in SoWal or elsewhere?

My favorite is cappuccino, enjoyed in a cafe anywhere in Italy! Been a while though. I need to break out my espresso maker.

For many of us, the day begins with a steaming cup of joe. It's how we wake up, and sometimes how we survive throughout the day. We are addicted to the strong aroma, robust flavor -- and, of course, the caffeine can help.

Today is National Coffee Day, and although coffee is mostly made for drinking, there are plenty of ways to use it in cooking and baking. You might want to savor the tail end of summer's warm weather with a hickory-smoked brisket with Southwestern coffee barbecue sauce or throw a dinner party and impress your friends with coffee-infused duck breast with lentil salad. For dessert, keep the coffee ice cream in the freezer and try making Kona coffee creme brulee instead.

    Enjoy!

    Five Food Finds about Coffee

    3. There is between 80 and 140 milligrams of caffeine in a seven once cup of coffee.
    4. 400 billion cups of coffee are consumed worldwide, making it the most popular beverage.
    5. 91% of coffee consumed is taken at breakfast. And sometimes is breakfast.

    Happy Coffee Day!!
I love me a Triple Venti Latte. But alas, I think I have become lactose intolerant. Dammit. So now I just use boring old Coffee Mate.

Is there anything better in the world than coffee? Alicia might say bacon, but you gotta have your coffee before you have your bacon!

Coffee on Sunday morning and lots of it. However my Cuisinart coffee maker died today. Luckily I have a French press. Makes the best coffee anyway.

What is the best coffee machine? This is the third Cuisinart I have had. All died within 2 or 3 years. I need another brand.

I love mine, but dang, those little cups get expensive is you're Olympic coffee people, like in my house. I have the fill yourself adapter, but it doesn't taste the same to me. Amazon.com has the best prices I've found for the cups. Going to try a different adapter and see how they work. This is the model I got a few months ago:http://www.cabelas.com/kitchen-elec...r=22654136544&mr:ad=15968046264&mr:adType=pla

I need lots of coffee. I really like the carafe kind of pot we have at the office. Keeps the coffee hot and fresh tasting. It's a Cuisinart though. It seems like they are programmed to give out after 2 years of use.
