Hi , I am new to this board and wanted to introduce myself. I am from Kentucky and have been coming to Florida for vacations for 23 years, since I was 20. I have gradually migrated from staying in Ft.Walton Beach, Destin, Sandestin, and now the Blue Mountain Beach area. I will have to say that I love Blue Mountain beach and the Santa Rosa Beach area. Although I like Destin, the Santa rosa Beach 
area is much more laid back and it has such a different atmosphere. My husband and I have just started the process of purchasing a short sale in the Blue Mt. Beach area. We are nervous about it, and we know we have to be very patient when dealing with a short sale. Good things come to those who wait right? I sure hope so! I hope to be a part time resident there sometime in the next few months (or however long it takes).
