Job Title: Store Key Holder
Reports to: Store Manager
Islanders Surf and Sport, a multi channel retail surf enterprise, is currently seeking a Retail Key Holder for our Grayton Beach store location.

The minimum eligibility requirements include:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliability and high personal integrity
- Flexibility in work schedule and location assignment
All applicants must meet one of the following criteria in addition to the minimum eligibility requirements:
- Two years retail-related work experience
General Summary:
This position will assist in managing the retail store consistent with the short and long-term interests of the company, its employees, and the local community. The Store Key Holder will uphold the company's voice on environmental and community issues. The Store Key Holder is responsible for achieving customer service and sales goals, assisting with expenses controls, and ensuring the store operates to uphold our company's mission. The Store Key Holder will come to work every day with a professional appearance and demeanor. Appearance - must present themselves in a well groomed professional manner. Demeanor - when you are in the store you are there to work and be a role model for other employees. Store Key Holders must conduct their behavior in a way that reflects the values of Islanders Surf & Sport.
Essential Job Functions:
Customer Service
o Lead by example for all employees the meaning and importance of customer service.
o Promote and monitor quality service among staff through training and by acting as a positive role model.
o Create "seamless customer service" by making every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in stock.
o Be personally available to all customers to communicate and identify their needs and address their questions or concerns.
Inventory
o Assist in executing physical inventories by scheduling and overseeing the inventory process in your store.
o Follow the instructions of Islanders Surf & Sport specific to inventory control: paperwork flow, timeliness of reporting receipt of goods, inventory transfers and other related inventory matters.
o Assist in protecting company assets through promoting awareness of loss prevention.
Communication
o Provide the Store Manager with a monthly update on the progress of the store and staff.
o Attend regular staff meetings: encourage input.
o Maintain feedback loop to buyers with customer comment cards and employee opinion.
o Ensure the company policy and procedures are communicated in a timely manner and adhered to accordingly.
