Job Title: Sales Associate
Islanders Surf and Sport, a multi channel retail surf/outdoor lifestyle gear enterprise, is currently seeking Sales Associates for our new Uptown Grayton store location.
General Summary:
Sales Associate Store Team members perform various tasks to inform and to assist customers. The Sales Associate will uphold the company's voice on environmental and community issues. Sales Associates will come to work every day with a professional demeanor. When you are interacting with our customers your positive energy and Island-style helpful attitude are required always. Sales Associates must conduct their behavior in a way that reflects the values of Islanders Surf & Sport. Our casual attire environment make this a really cool job. Knowledge of surf and outdoor brands and products a plus.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Customer Service: Go to the ends of the earth satisfying and helping customers. Always, if your store is out of a size or item, check with the other store and also give the website as an alternative.
2. Daily Housekeeping: Always keep busy making sure things are neat and clean. Clothing and racks are neat.
3. Daily Tasks Assigned from Management: When a task is done---ask for another one. Always be ready to help with store projects.
4. Personal marketing: Talk up the store and its products. Help with making suggestions to management/owners on how or what we could do better.
5. Product knowledge: 3point5 Product Knowledge training. Learn, remember, and relay to customers about products
