If it's not him, he looks very much like the real thing. I would imagine a fellow with similar features in all that makeup and hair and pirate garb, could easily pass as the real JD. I'm not sayin it ain't him....just sayin' :roll:

I was thinking since the Jack Sparrow character belongs to Disney, that times must be tough if they are renting Johnny D. out Looks like it was a funn time no matter who he was.

He was beautiful! Soft spoken and kind. When I went to take my photo, he remembered me from earlier in the night and I was just standing next to him for the photo and he asked me to hold his hand. I'm so stupid, I didn't even look at his fingers. I'm always so shy when I don't know people. Sometimes I wish I was more aggressive, I would have jumped his bones Hi wife is a lucky lady.

OK, here's what we've found on the internet. He is definitely done filming his new movie. The Orlando Sentinal had an article on 8/6/08 that Disney is doing a big renovation of the Caribbean Resort in the whole Pirate of the Caribbean theme complete with Captain Jack Sparrow furnishings So it's not so far fetched to think that he's in Florida. Also his band name is "the Kids" and they are scheduled to play in Pompano Beach on the 29th of August.

Also, everybody that we talked to with the Chamber and the Hilton confirmed that it was really him and that there was very tight security. Before LATB went on stage last night, the chamber rep said that she wanted to let her know that Johnny Depp was in the audience.

Sorry Ladies,

I have it on good authority that was not the real Johnny Depp - but an impersonator. The Hilton had a theme party - every table was suppose to be a different movie.
