On September 20th, Macaroni Kid locations around the United States will be participating in “Do Something GREAT Day.” We are united with our communi- ties around the U.S. to show love and support to those in our community that need our help.

The Meltdown on 30A, in support of Okaloosa-Walton Macaroni Kid, will be working with other community partners to help Families First Network to redecorate their Family Play Room in Fort Walton Beach. Families First Network also serves foster children in our area. This room is used daily by children and is in desperate need of a makeover. Together we can make a difference in the lives of children who have been affected by abuse or neglect.

On September the 13th, from 8–5, The Meltdown on 30A will be accepting donations for the following items:

Diapers, new underwear, socks all sizes, new or gently used coats, clothing, shoes, toys, games, puzzles, books, DVDs, an entertainment center, Barbie dolls and accessories, and trains for a train table that was donated. We are also in need of baby equipment: A changing table, swing, bouncy seat, excersaucer, etc..

The Meltdown on 30A will be giving away a voucher for one free grilled sandwich per drop off.

The Meltdown is asking individuals and businesses to pull together and make donations of items and their time to make this room a great place for abused and neglected children to play. This project comes with a $0 budget. It is a community project and will be as big as the hearts in our community.

New or Gently Used Items can be dropped off at The Meltdown on 30A located on airstream row in the heart of Seaside.
