What: Kayak Eco Tour on Lake Powell at Camp Helen State Park

Join Camp Helen State Park for a leisurely 90-minute guided paddle on Lake Powell, one of the world's largest Coastal Dune Lakes. Learn about the history, natural communities and wildlife that make this Outstanding Florida Water so unique and important. All levels of experience are welcome. Watercraft and gear from outside the park are not permitted. Be sure to bring sun protection and drinking water.

Park entry fee of $4 plus $30 program fee. Cash only, exact change only. Fee includes watercraft rental, life jacket, paddle and a donation to the Friends of Camp Helen State Park. Personal watercraft and gear are not permitted.

Space is limited to 10 single kayaks; reservations are required. Call the park at 850-233-5059.

Individuals must be over the age of 12 and able to navigate their watercraft. Program is weather dependent. Please help us keep the trip on schedule by being on time and bring everything that you need with you to the Visitor Center.

Camp Helen State Park is located at 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway, just west of the Phillips Inlet Bridge on the Bay County and Walton County line.
