The Lake Powell Community Alliance (LPCA) invites you to join them in a community effort to celebrate and beautify Lake Powell, a rare coastal dune lake located in western Bay County and eastern Walton County, SEPT 20 from 8am-2pm.
Registration for the cleanup will be from 8-9am. Participants may register at Lake Powell Park (boat ramp) or Camp Helen State Park. The shoreline cleanup will last until noon.
Gear Provided: Vinyl gloves, garbage bags, and data cards.
Bring: Closed toed shoes, hat, sunscreen, 'grabber', and work gloves.
Also, bring your boat, canoe, kayak or paddleboard and join the armada of cleanup crews (life jacket and whistle required).
