Lakeview Subdivision Plat- Request to approve by final plat. Project number
PLA18-000026 is being reviewed by Bob Baronti. This is a plat application submitted
by Innerlight Engineering Corp., on behalf of Seaside Acquisition Group, LLC. ,
requesting approval to plat 57 single family lots on 19.72+/- acres with a future land
use of Small Neighborhood. The project is located from the intersection of US
Highway 98 and US 331 east four miles, right on Thompson Road, the parcel is
located on the eastern side of Thompson Road, and is identified by parcel
number(s) 34-2S-20-33270-058-0001, 34-2S-20-33270-058-0002,
34-2S-20-33270-058-0003, 34-2S-20-33270-058-0004, and

Excerpts from the Staff Report:
❖ This project went through the SSA process to remove the Conservation Residential 2DU/Acre
portion of this development to change the FLU to Small Neighborhood. The FLU change was
granted at the January 10, 2017 BCC Meeting. The Walton County Technical Review Committee
held a public hearing on December 7, 2016. The Committee voted to approve the project as
presented in the agenda. The Walton County Planning Commission held a public hearing on
February 9, 2017 and made the recommendation to approve the project.
❖ The Walton County Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on March 14, 2017
and approved the development. The Walton County Technical Review Committee held a public
hearing on September 5, 2018. The Committee voted to approve the project as presented in the
agenda. This project is now on the BCC Agenda for final consideration.
❖ This development has chosen to provide public recreation lands as per The Walton County
Comprehensive Plan. Policy R-2.1.9 states, “Walton County shall continue to require developers
to dedicate a minimum of 5% of the gross area of a residential development or mixed use
development with a residential component for public recreation purposes, which may include
public beach access ways”.
