My girlfriend and I are moving to the area from Texas. We were in the market for a house, but due to COVID-19 our search has ended. We are now back in Texas, but looking for a lease in the area to wait out the virus and look for a house towards the end of the year.
Most of the apartment complexes want a 1 year lease with an early termination option of 60 days notice plus 2 months rent. That is not very practical when trying to search for a home, especially with the virus uncertainty.
If anyone has a long term lease available and is willing to work with us on a flexible termination option, please let me know! We can move as early as April 11th, and we are open to 30A, Destin, or Panama City Beach.
By the way, I am a Software Engineer who has worked from home for the past 5 years, so luckily my income will not be affected by the virus.
