LOST DOG: Beagle Shepherd mix, female, nearly blind.

Older, 40 lb, medium sized dog. Beloved family pet. Wandered away from her home on the evening of Jan. 6th. Last seen in The Preserve at Grayton Beach neighborhood btw Hwy 283 and Hwy 83. Please call or text 765-210-0893 anytime if you know of her whereabouts. The dog answers to the name Babe and was last seen wearing a blue collar. We are missing her dearly!

Sadly, we found out that our beloved dog Babe was struck and killed instantly by a car right outside our neighborhood on Tuesday evening within 15 minutes of her disappearance from our home. We are grateful for the kind woman who saw our signs and contacted us Friday evening. She provided the missing link needed to successfully recover Babe's body and bring her home for the last time. The SoWal community is such an awesome group of people who are so compassionate. Thank you to all who prayed, were concerned, and supported our efforts in finding Babe. Although it is not the outcome we had hoped for, we are relieved to have closure. God bless!
