Professional magician Jeanette Andrews will host Magic Kids Workshops at The REP JUN 19-AUG 2. Jeanette will share her magic with family performances, kids’ workshops and thought-provoking magic shows. Hailed by national media as “an inspiration” and “magic for the twenty-first century,” she presents a new take on the art of the impossible.

Magic Kids Workshop | Ages 5-7
    THURS at Noon | JUN 19–AUG 2
    Tickets $25/includes cost of materials.

A great introduction to magic for children ages five through seven, with all supplies included. Jeanette Andrews presented her first magic show at age four and performed her first paid show at the age six; join Jeanette in this class as she teaches some of the first magic tricks that she ever performed. Students will learn several age-appropriate magic tricks including: magically know what color crayon a friend has chosen from a box, without ever seeing it, and making a ball disappear and instantly reappear!

Magic Kids Workshop | Ages 8-12
    Fridays at Noon | JUN 20–AUG 2
    Tickets $25/includes cost of materials.

This workshop is an excellent introduction to magic for those new to the art, but also for kids with prior experience looking to build their repertoire. Kids learn not only how to perform the effects but also how to begin to craft routines that suit their style and personality. Students will learn several magic tricks including: how to predict a card chosen by a friend, and being able to reveal a number that someone is merely thinking of!

Remember to check out Jeanette's weekly performances at The REP!
