Great day trip! Very nice wildlife veiwing boat tour.
Wakulla Springs is the best place ever!
Love the baby calf.
Funn, funn, funn. I so want to play with the manatees.
While we're on the subject of manatees, check out Save the Manatee Club.
It's a wonderful website that tells you everything you ever wanted to know about manatees.
When my son was younger, I always ordered him a calendar or some sort of gift for Christmas every year. He even talked his Sunday school class into donating all their offering $$ to the Save the Manatee Club. The SS teacher was sort of ticked but went ahead and donated to them.
You can adopt a manatee too.
If you want to see a lot of manatees, Blue Spring State Park is the place to go. Main Page - Blue Spring State Park ? Florida State Parks
I camped there one Christmas and there were nearly a hundred manatees in the spring run. Very cool.
Yes. Also Homossasa Springs west of Orange City.
