I want to write an article and maybe even an editorial on this issue next week. Seems all this time we've been losing funds from cameras that can't read the raised design. The contract, if approved, according to the article I have attached will go to a private company as well. Is it just me or does anyone else think that this might be a camera vendor design flaw and not something that tax payers should have to address? If it has been going on this long, should the state ask the camera vendors to replace their products or the tax payers to foot a bill? Scott maintains the tax payers won't have to pay, because the people who don't get the new tags will be fined and absorb the cost. I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on this and if you'd like to share that opinion with me for print, hit me up with an email to alicia@defuniakherald.com with your quote and thoughts. Thanks! http://miami.cbslocal.com/2012/10/13/florida-may-get-new-license-plates
