The new Somerby Senior Living community, located in Santa Rosa Beach, is now hiring an Activities Assistant/Transportation Driver. Position is available immediately. Key duties include assisting in planning and implementing a program of therapeutic recreational activities for our residents, and transporting them to and from activities and appointments in the Santa Rosa Beach/Destin area. This person will also maintain and fuel the company-owned bus as necessary, and coordinate activities with other Somerby departments as needed. Qualified candidates will have at least one year of proven experience in a customer service role. They should have a passion for working with seniors, exceptional communication skills, a team-player attitude, and must display patience, tact, and enthusiasm. Prior experience driving a 15 passenger bus is a plus. A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. This is a full time position, with an expected work schedule of Tuesday through Saturday.
