A friend of mine went into the gulf today in the Seabreeze / Camp Creek area and got black oil all over her hands and feet. Has anyone else experienced this? Who should she call to report it? Any ideas?

I wonder if it was from that large floating structure that has gone from Miramar Beach area to the East. Last seen this weekend off Blue Mtn. Beach area.

I think its something to do with artificial reefs.

That area has a lot of black peat pockets from an old forest. .. It can leave an oily feeling black residue. Reportedly harmless.

    It's Peat!
