what y'all think? for best week in sep or oct for less chance of flies, less visitors (w benefit of less beach vendors) and still warm water? Don't mind a bit of a gasp upon plunging. Thank you!

Water is still very warm through October. Flies completely unpredictable but usually not a problem in those months. September is still hot. Lots more events in October. Too many really.

October is a real favorite time in South Walton. And it's moving into November as well for a break from the heat but still pleasant.
