Poor Truman Creative Summer Internship (Paid Stipend)
Poor Truman Creative is a local, boutique-ish creative consulting company. Job duties include (but, are not limited to):
- Event Production and Vendor/Talent Management
- Marketing: Press Releases and Social Media content
- Advertising: Local and national markets, creative direction, etc.
- Assistance as needed: Running errands, shipping packages, driving distance ranges from FWB to Panama City Beach, occasional dry-cleaning pickups/drop offs.
- iPhone photography and video: Work selfies are frowned upon
- Customer Service skills: Interact with guests and patrons in a variety of scenarios
- Appreciation for Amazon Prime Stations similar to “Indie Rock After Work”
Being able to multi-task and keep +10 different trains of thought organized at any given time is a major plus. Fast-paced and fluid working environment. Must be flexible and open to casual cursing. For any comparable research: “Veep” is a helpful reference - without the business suits, briefcases, or Jonah.
Looking for 20 hours/week (negotiable) in office from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Training, etc. would begin prior to May 28, 2016. Majority of work hours would be weekdays, including Wednesday nights specifically. No foreseeable requests for applicant to work weekends.
Must be proficient in the following areas/skill sets:
- Online data management: Google Docs, Dropbox, etc.
- Social Media
- Apple iWork Office Suite Preferred
- Not taking yourself too seriously
