Our prayers go out to you this morning as you are awaiting the terrible arrival of an unwanted visitor. Our hearts go out to you-both owners of property and the everyday citizens of the area. It just doesn't seem fair that you are having to go through all this over again. My family had a huge vacation planned and were looking forward to being in paradise (we were to arrive yesterday)with you but we cancelled a couple of weeks ago due to the critical illness of my father in law. As you prepare to protect your lives and property there-we are about to bury him today. It is a sad day for all. Please know that while we may not know you by name, you are certainly in our thoughts and prayers.

I haven't been to the Gulf Coast in a while. I hope to be able to arrange something after Labor Day and God willing my S/O and I will still be able to come. I am praying that God bless and protect everyone in the Panhandle and South. Alabama. I also pray that God protect you homes and businesses.

Sincere sympathy on the loss of your father in law. I hope your next trip to SoWal and the ocean help to bring you and your family peace. Gazing out at the ocean has a soothing way of doing that because it makes the world seem so timeless and our life on earth so precious.
