NOTICE OF WORKSHOP: Walton County Tourist Development Council (TDC) Organizational Options

The Walton County Board of County Commissioners will hold a Workshop on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 3:00 PM at the South Walton Annex Courthouse located at 31 Coastal Centre Boulevard, Santa Rosa Beach, FL.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Tourist Development Council organizational options, including privatization.

Walton County Commissioners will meet Tuesday, November 10, to discuss organizational options for the South Walton Tourist Development Council, including privatization.

The South Walton TDC is responsible for increasing the tourism economy of Walton County. The organization oversees bed tax dollars and other funds.

The workshop will be held at 3 p.m. at the South Walton Courthouse Annex at 31 Coastal Centre Boulevard in Santa Rosa Beach.

So far I don't trust the BCC to privatize this. It'd be simpler to just start writing checks to friends and relatives.
